More and more retail lenders are interested in offering the CalPERS Member Home Loan Program to their borrowers. But, many don’t know where to begin. As Program Manager, CitiMortgage offers training seminars to Loan Officers, Brokers, and Operations Personnel.
Most importantly, the Advanced Training will explain the benefits of the Program to the CalPERS Member, the savings and protections that make homeownership easy and affordable, and what makes the Program one of the most attractive mortgage lending products available.
Your Account Executive presents several in-depth product workshops throughout the year, for those loan officers that want to make the CalPERS Member Home Loan Program a part of their monthly revenue stream.
The Advanced Training Seminar will not only help you understand how to originate a CalPERS Mortgage loan, but also help you understand the individual products that the Program offers. You will learn about the specific guidelines for various products and how to match the needs of the CalPERS Member to the products available.
At the end of an Advanced Training Seminar you have the opportunity to take a Program knowledge test and become a CalPERS Certified Loan Officer. Certified Loan Officers may become eligible to receive referrals directly from CitiMortgage, depending on their level of production each quarter and subject to annual re-certification. CalPERS Certified Loan Officers are responsible for 50% of all CalPERS Mortgage Loans originated. They handle over 20,000 referrals from CitiMortgage each year.
